The Importance of

Games and Sports

We strongly believe in the benefits of games and sports. They are an excellent way to reduce stress, boost self-confidence, and promote social interaction. Engaging in sports enhances concentration, reduces the risk of health issues, and helps develop coordination and teamwork skills.

Indoor

Games

To stimulate intellectual development and encourage strategic thinking, we provide a range of engaging indoor games, including:

  • Chess:Known as the “Game of Kings,” it boosts memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Carrom Board: Enhances hand-eye coordination, focus, and planning.

      These games offer a calm and focused environment, encouraging students to sharpen their minds while enjoying recreational time indoors.

Outdoor

Games

Our outdoor sports program is designed not just to develop athletic skills but also to instill the spirit of healthy competition and teamwork. Under the guidance of experienced Physical Education trainers, students are trained in:

  • Volleyball & Throwball: Improve agility, reflexes, and communication on the court.
  • Kho-Kho & Kabaddi: Traditional Indian games that enhance stamina, speed, and team coordination.
  • Shuttle Badminton:Develops quick decision-making, physical fitness, and focus.

      Regular training sessions are conducted during Physical Education (PE) hours. We also encourage students to participate in inter-college and zonal-level tournaments, providing them with exposure, experience, and confidence to perform at higher levels.

Our Students won first place in the inter-college kabaddi competition held at Agragami PU College
